Construct Your Email to Target All Your Contacts

To often I see limousine business owners sending out an email blast
that is just a graphic image. All their text, phone number, business
logo and special offer is placed inside the the photo or image. Most
email browsers have options and settings for users to turn off
incoming images or photos. So all they see on the email is a white
blank screen. What they do see is who sent the email to them (Email
Sent From) and the subject line. Well for starters, anytime I receive
an email that I cannot view, that sender get blocked from sending me
emails and I make a mental note, not to use that business. See how
sending an email out that is not properly formatted can be a bad
thing? You might only get once chance to present your business to that
contact before you loose them as an active contact. Today, email
recipients only need to "Opt Out" of your email contact list or worse,
report you for spamming them.

ALT Tags Make A Difference

Most browsers are defaulted to ask if the viewer would like to "Load
Images?" This is when the image ALT tags become so important. Always
make sure you include ALT (Alternative descriptive text that tells the
user what the image is about) Tags for every component of your
limousine email blast. Alt tags used in conjunction with a specific
search phrase or set of keywords can help you with SEO and assist
people who have special needs.

HTML & TEXT - Building Email Smart

It is important to understand that some people have their email
browsers set up to only view emails in TXT (Text) format. Thus
eliminating any HTML formatting or images from showing. So when EFX

our clients, we always send both versions to each email recipient. For
those who have HTML email setting turned on, they see all the graphics
and the text. For those viewers that only allow text emails, they will
