Questions about the space

I'm from abroad and I'm considering looking for a job in Limerick .
One of my main criteria is: «is there an active hackerspace nearby?».
It looks like milklabs is closed, so I'd like to know more about it.

Are there many people interested ?
How hard would it be to set it up once again ?
How much would it be opened ?
Is there an IRC chan (no one's at milklabs on freenode) ?

Hi Yazgoo,

miLKlabs isn't "closed" as such, we just don't have a space at the moment, due to both funding and restrictions of our previous space.
Since we moved out of that space the list has indeed been quiet, but miLKlabs as an entity still exists.

I'm currently a final year student in UL, so I'm not going to be able to dedicate a lot of time to miLKlabs.
I feel (speaking only for myself here) that it would be nice to run some small scale hacking sessions / small projects.

Perhaps others could chime in about details such as a space (if that's what you're suggesting) etc...
