Hi,
I checked and we could get a room in the Downtown learning centre on Wednesday that week from 6 to 8:30 pm. It's next to Locke's bar on George's Quay. We could have a presentation and then a short workshop. Any ideas?
We could also host an activity in UL any day that week.
I was also thinking of another Ignite - there's one planned in Galway for Halloween.
What do people think? What would make you want to attend?

PS I promised a presentation on e-textiles ages ago. If there's interest, I could try and put that together.
Still a beginner me but it occurs to me that they may have an interest in the CoderDojo, if they haven't been there already. They're using a space in the old art school beside the Locke bar. David Sims is one of the organizers there. On Tuesday 28 August 2012 at 22:51, trevorpower wrote:
I got this request from a Teacher in Croom looking for help with a Junior Cert programming course, can anyone help?[...] I will be doing Arduino - do you know anyone who is really good that could do some workshops with the kids or give me some pointers. I'm ordering the tinker kit. I figured some of the MILK guys might be good at that.
We have decent broadband at the school so could Skype someone.
