I love LimeChat. But there is one feature missing for me: The possibility to set up proxy servers in the application - or is it there and I just don't find it? I really would love to have this feature to be able to use Tor.

Per-application proxy settings are pretty rare for OSX apps. Usually
proxies are configured globally in Network Preferences.
Is there some reason you don't want to use a proxy server for ALL connections?
Well it's not so uncommon if you only take messaging applications into
consideration. Most if them have their own proxy settings.
I don't want to route all my traffic through (SOCKS) Proxy, because of
speed limitations. So e.g. I want my browser to connect "directly" to
the Internet while my messaging traffic should be routed through the
Tor network.
That's why I would like to have these settings on application basis.
