Hello all, just wanted to share the news that our African dance
lessons are finally off the ground and will be held Thursday evenings
from 6:30-7:30 at MADSOC. The cost is 450 kwacha per lesson each for
the teacher, plus a one-time payment of 1,500 kwacha per person for an
annual membership to MADSOC which, among other benefits, entitles us
to use their space.
Our teacher is Kay from the fabulous Shooting Stars, a Congolese rumba
band that you may have seen perform at Umunthu Theatre.
