| I installed xfburn (from the xfce desktop) and it works great. Very fast; seems immune from kde and gnome problems. Failure of k3b, gnomebaker, brasero,& nautilus burner thus seems to be due to bugs in kde and gnome somewhere---? from trying to be too complex; trying to be too much like Windows? I still think it worth solving the gnome and kde problems but no longer urgent for me. Norm Norm Borenstein |
