Vandaag heeft de Velox 2 van het Human Powered Team zijn eerste rondjes gereden op de RDW baan in Lelystad. Hoe de fiets er precies uit ziet, mag ik pas na de officiële introductie laten zien. Maar er zijn toch al een paar foto's online, met toestemming van Paul Denissen. Als voorproefje:

HPT was niet de enige die vandaag aan het testen was. Er worden mooie recordfietsen gemaakt!

Waar is de K-Drive gebleven (foto 5+7)?

Sake -kan zich niet voorstellen dat deze alleen rechts wordt toegepast- Bloemhof

Da's de "oude" Velox Sake. Daarmee reden de rijders zich kennelijk in. De
K-drive wordt toegepast in de Velox2.

dat is de Velox 1 op foto 5 en 7. Foto 4 is gelukkig ook de Velox 1.
Alle andere plaatjes zijn van de Velox 2.

Ik was er ook bij en het was inderdaad indrukwekkend. Er waren op tijden
wel 4 stroomlijnen op de baan en er werd stevig doorgereden. De Velox 2
heeft zich goed gehouden bij de maiden voyage.
