Guys,

I'm seeing some seriously sub-optimal Ajax and Comet behavior on snapshot.

First, the Comet page is not automagically refreshing on restart.

Second, the Ajax calls time out 4 times before they "make it" to the server.

I know Antonio made a bunch of changes to the Comet stuff... could these changes be impacting SNAPSHOT?

Thanks,

David

Okay... it seems that the issue is with Firefox and not with Lift... dunno what's going on, but things work fine with Chrome and it's only in a wacky virtualized on my local box through nginx ssl blah blah... if I find anything Lift-related, I'll let folks know.

Sounds good. We haven't heard of anything specific happening, and we've been running 2.5-SNAPSHOT with my comet changes in production for a few weeks now. Which version of FF is it? We can try throwing out some feelers to our users to see if they've been observing something in Firefox and simply not realizing it's an issue with our code.
Thanks,
Antonio
