Because the Comet & Ajax Support in Lift is one of the best things
I've seen so far (in web programming) I decided to play around with
it.

The first result is a tiny, incomplete and still buggy poker game:
http://poker.dhobi.staxapps.net/ (just give in a name and hit enter)

As I mentioned it is in a very early stage of development.

source code: If there is a demand for it I will upload it to github
but I seriously don't think that someone will see this mess :)

I can attest that the game is very fun! Great work, Daniel!

Stunningly awesome.... of course I'm going to be wasting a lot of time with this app (I hope it works on my Android phone)

Thanks for the feedback guys!

I enjoyed playing poker with you despite the bugs :)
I will add some features and fix some bugs (i.e. timeout bug). I will
also upload the "code" (or however you want to call it) to github.

Thanks again!
Daniel

Great work! Total fun to play and I can't wait to see where you go with it! It's going to be a serious threat to my productivity ;)

Cheers,

Derek

Hi there,

Just to let you know:
- LiftPoker got a faceLIFT (Hope you don't mind the excessive use of
the Lift logo)
- Code is available on github (http://github.com/dhobi/LiftPoker)
**Warning** could seriously harm programmer brains **Warning**
- Some minor fixes

Link again for a manic monday poker game:
http://poker.dhobi.staxapps.net/

See you there!

Daniel
