Great stuff!

Off-topic, what keyboard are you using? There is a delightful click
per keystroke, but not loud enough to be an IBM Model M.
DasKeyboard? Cherry?

(bit of a KB nerd)

;-) It's an external Apple USB keyboard [1].  It's resting on a wooden desk (oak, I think) which affects the sound, and I tend to be heavy-fingered on it.
