I am starting a new project and want to use 2.5-SNAPSHOT, but where
are the nightly 2.5 API docs published?
Also, what is the timeline for 2.5-M1 (just curious)?

Not sure they are published, but you can grab them per project from
Cloudbees:

you may also clone lift framework from git repo and run
doc command in sbt. takes a couple of minutes to run though.
