Hi I'm a long time lurker of Lifehacker, and I thought I'd contribute back here.
Since Lifehacker is going print, why don't we go all the way and make an organiser out of it? After all, LH is about productivity and organisation, so that in itself makes it impressive.
Pros: + Section Tabs, can be clearly seen and referred to (Work, Inspiration, PC stuff etc) + Modular, allows users to add their own lifehacks into the book, or take out those they want and add it to their own organisers. + Modular II, allows you to bring out mini-sections of it as well. + Modular III, allows 'add-ons' and 'patches', which other print format cannot allow + Different, stands out on the shelf both at the shop and at home, good for sales and showing off + Mobile, you'd want to bring it around + Everything an organiser is. With the tips and articles put around the dates, you learn something new everyday!
Cons: - Expensive to produce, which will spill to us buyers I guess
I'm quite sure I haven't exhausted the possibilities. I'm thinking pockets, stickers, et cetera...
This is a pretty cool idea! If it's not possilble to turn it into an full fledged organizer, how about incorporating tearaway pages with charts or sheets corresponding to their specific sections: To-Do Lists, Day Planner, etc.

How about a CD or a website with PDF files with templates for charts, sheets, etc.. ?
This is making me think of those kits you see in kids' stores to make crafts or play games etc.; they include a book, or are basically a book, but bundled with extra materials.
