It is a good day to be indoors, and that's where I am as Lori recoups from
surgery. As many of you know Lori had surgery to remove cancer that was
found a few weeks ago during a routine check-up. The good news is that the
cancer is gone along with her thyroid gland where it was discovered. I want

We wanted to wait till we got the latest forecast, and due to the 2" of
rain being projected tonight and tomorrow we have decided to postpone the
Hayride and Bonfire. We have almost 300 who plan on attending so parking on
the grass would be an issue as well as soggy hay. I hope that everyone can
join us next Friday, Nov. 6th at 6PM.

I hope you all are enjoying the One Month to Live Challenge. I have been
hearing stories of family reconciliation, people reaching out to others for
the first time, and many are taking on new challenges. Today was one of
those for me. I had the opportunity to do some training with our Fire Dept.

Hi everyone, I have an urgent prayer request for a family (Sam and Kelly) that really needs them right now. Today an old friend from high school picked up his 6-month-old son from daycare, got him home and noticed that he wasn't breathing, got him to the ER and he was already gone. They are saying as of now that it was SIDS but they wont know for sure until an autopsy is performed. The medical examiner said that he was already gone when he picked him up at from daycare (Sam thought he was sleeping). Please pray that God gives them comfort and strength to get through the services and the next few months as I'm sure that this time will be almost unbearable. I can't tell you how many times I've stopped and thanked God today for our safe and healthy children, please pray that God gives Sam and Kelly the wisdom they will need to explain this to their other children and help them cope with this horrible loss. And last please pray for their extended family as they are all very distraught over the loss of this poor little baby.
