I hope this isn't too far from libertarianism to post here.

Non-country-specific Google:

I suspect many of you, like me, are driven nuts by Google defaulting to Google SA.  To get Google per se, set your default search (or start page) to:

http://www.google.com/ncr

("ncr" = no country redirect).

Google website-specific search:

A very useful option if you want to search a specific website as opposed to the entire internet is to specify the site thus:

site:http://libsa.wordpress.com/ charter

(That'll search that website alone and find its Libertarian Charter.)
