20212 Seminar in Grahamstown

Loraine Weissenberg and I have been knocking the idea of a Libertarian Seminar in Grahamstown around for a few weeks. She has access to a small hotel which can accommodate between 30 and 40 people at reasonable rates. We are looking at weekends around end October to early November. To give us some idea of preferences and numbers, please can you answer the following question by placing a "Y" in the appropriate spot.

I (and family/friends) would attend a libertarian seminar in Grahamstown if it was held on
Y/N              26-28 October
Y/N              2-4 November
Y/N              9-11 November

We will have a clearer idea of cost once numbers and dates are known. However you can assume (very roughly)
Air fare   R1000
Accommodation R300-500/night
Dinner  R100/night
Registration R200 per person

Would love to attend – but . . .

Air Fare = R1,000 = which airline is that!

We can’t find anything under R3,000 from Durban to Port Elizabeth – then add car hire to travel to Grahamstown.

Or do you have additional information?

I was talking about travel from Gauteng. I did not include darkest Africa and KZN in that calculation, I am afraid. Have you thought of going by sea - might be a nice cruise? Perhaps people like Chris Fey might help? Transport to and from PE might be sharable closer to the time.
