Hi Trevor,
I noticed the comments from our resourceful Libertarian lot saying that the logistics and costs in attending the LibSem were prohibitive. So I looked up the 1Time flight schedule for November and the return flights are (fully inclusive) as low as R1480- for most of the month – BUT they will have to book as early as possible.
Secondly, shuttles to/from Grahamstown start at R160-00 one –way to Grahamstown. The road is very good. Rental cars are from about R220-00/day including 200km’s free mileage. There are also other accommodation possibilities – from backpackers etc. I thought Loraine may have the details.
You are more than welcome to stay with usJ
You can quote me – more than 200 000 people per annum make the PE – Grahamstown journey, including weekly commuters to CT and JHB from Grahamstown – it is not a problem or particularly costly compared to a normal CT- JHB or KZN journey (at which most Libsem’s have been held).
Perhaps you can post this to the forum? I didn’t want you to be unduly
Thanks
Ron
