Webchat sound in IE9 requires "compatibilty mode" be set in the
browser. It's a little squiggly line in the browser address bar,
looks like this:
In my tests, the setting stays set on the computer for the specific
domain in question, but you can check for sure using the Compatibility
View Settings area. The tricky part is that IE9 has this very
sneakily hidden.
Try the following steps:
- Open https://libraryh3lp.com/webchat/ in IE9. It is not necessary to login.
- Hit the Alt key on the keyboard. IE9 will present a windows-style
menu under the address bar.
- Go to Tools-->Compatibility View Settings
- IE should offer to add libraryh3lp.com; click to add the site.
