Buddy List Creation Hanging?

Hi,

 

I’ve added a couple of new employees to our main chat queue and have tried to buddy them with everyone else in the queue.  The system never seems to complete the request.  The screen seems to gray-out a bit and hangs … with “x of y buddy relationships…” where x is less than y as the result.  Advice?

Hi Matt,

The good news is that your users are actually buddied properly.  While the progress bar itself hangs, the server-side of the process completes.  It's fine to refresh the admin site to clear away the stuck bar.

Users won't be able to see each other in their buddy lists until both parties logout and in once.  After that, things should be good. 

Sorry about that!  Definitely very confusing and on our list of bugs to squish.
