Each time the first librarian/staff of our library logged in to
Libraryh3lp, she/he would get following junk mail:

guest...@chat.libraryh3lp.com null Gmail Team <mail-
nor...@google.com> sent Gmail is different. Here's what you need to
know.
guest...@chat.libraryh3lp.com null Meebo <no-r...@meebo.com> sent
Welcome to Meebo! The Gmail Team sent Access Gmail on your mobile
phone the Gmail Team sent Get started with Gmail.

And guest...@chat.libraryh3lp.com was always listed under
LibraryH3lp of Buddy List even we have never got questions from this
guest.

Hi Lisa,

That's Google trying to "help" by passing along unread mail alerts
from the gmail acct associated with the Google Talk acct you have
gateway'd.

You can stop it from notifying you of unread mail in your mailbox by
signing into that gmail acct directly and marking existing unread
gmail messages read (or deleting the messages).

You can stop it from passing along new mail as it comes in by setting
up various solutions with Gmail filters and/or forwarding. What you
do here will depend on how you use that gmail account. If it's
forwarding its mail somewhere else, go into the forwarding settings
and tell it to either archive or delete gmail's copy. If it's *not*
getting forwarded, maybe a filter for something like "to:me" and
archive or mark read will do the trick...

Good luck!

Best,
-Pam.
