Transfer lag

Hey folks,

I've received several reports recently about transfers taking a while (several minutes) to percolate out to their destinations. I think all the examples I heard about were direct transfers; not sure about transfers to queues.

I wonder whether this is related to the server slowness you're reporting on Twitter, but thought I'd mention it in case it was unrelated...
