In the most recent round of the IMLS National Leadership Grant =
announcements, I received a grant to create an alternate reality game =
toolkit for libraries.

The grant will fund the first round of prototype development, which will =
involve a group of 10 academic librarians and Jenny Levine from the ALA =
who will work with me through a Delphi study to develop a set of needs =
for the libraries, and then I will work with MIT to develop a prototype =
over the spring and summer. =20
We'll then ask those libraries to test the games in Fall 2013 as part of =
the library orientation activities.

If it is successful, then we will be invited to apply for additional =
funding to develop and release the toolkit for wide availability.
