Hi—
I am looking to update current research and practice on Gaming with Baby Boomers and Seniors.
Plans are to incorporate these findings into several workshops/presentations that I am presenting in the next several weeks as well as two articles on the topic that are currently in-progress.
I was looking to identify (and find out additional information) on:
--Libraries that have begun gaming with seniors and baby boomers (during 2009).
--Libraries that have begun to use hand-held gaming devices with their seniors, like Nintendo Dsi
--Libraries that have begun inter-generational gaming in their libraries (during 2009).
--Libraries that have begun bowling leagues between libraries involving seniors
--Libraries that have been unsuccessful in their gaming events with baby boomers and seniors
Anecdotal information and/or leads to any printed information about the above would be helpful.
Please feel free to post to the list and/or send me an e-mail directly to: kle...@aol.com.
My thoughts are that this current information would be of benefit to those of us who continue to promote gaming with these
age groups.
Thanks,
--Allan

Hi Allan, I would be happy to help. We have a 20 member senior Wii bowling league that has been very successful. We have bowled against other libraries and are about to try skype to see how that works. My blog is http://gameslib.wordpress.com/
