Beat akrasia by holding yourself accountable in a social setting! Just post what you're committing to, and, if you want to, what your self-imposed punishment will be if you fail. Anyone who wants a laug--er, I mean, who wants to help--can claim "witness" to your commitment and make it their personal business to observe that you either do it or face the consequences.
