Next few meetups

Hi all,

Roger and I are going to be gone for the next three meetups. I'm leaving for New York for the whole summer; we're going to visit Boston this weekend (5/26), then Roger will be visiting other family the next (6/1), and the weekend after that we're going camping (6/9).

This Sunday is games meetup, and it sounds like Lojban meetup might be happening the week after that, and the next, according to our regular schedule, should also be a games meetup (unless something else is proposed).

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up since Roger usually sends out the notices.

See you later this summer! (I'll be back to visit sometime.)

We meet regularly at the National Portrait Gallery courtyard, 3 PM Sundays. It's Metro accessible from either Gallery Place (take the Galleries exit) or Metro Center (11th Street exit, and walk 2 blocks.)

Number of people varies, typically it's more than 4 and less than 10.

Well, seeing as I failed to get a ride (as I kind of expected to) I won't be making it to the next meetup, or gaming. I hope everyone who can make it has a great time!

Hmm. It sounds like this meetup won't be too big. So, to Jimmy: If you do come and the meetup is very small, do be aware that this is not typical. Last time we got a lurker to show up at a meetup, it happened to be at a meetup where everyone got sick the day prior and couldn't come, and he didn't meet anyone, and it was terrible. So basically, I hope that doesn't happen, but if it does, be aware that it is unusual, and we hope you will come back at a more usual meetup! (We haven't heard from that guy again, sadly... :-/ )
