hi,

today when trying i found the python (3.1) ``urllib.parse.parseurl()``
method quite lacking at least when it comes to JDBC URLs. i yearn to
get using lepl quite soon so i wonder what the way to parsing JDBC /
any kind or URL with lepl would look like? i mean there is an RFC out
there that details all the details, so i think there should be a
python way to do just that no? -- too drunk to cook it up myself right
now but any pointers appreciated

kthx

I don't have any code to parse JDBC URLs, I'm afraid.

There's code at http://www.acooke.org/lepl/api/lepl.apps.rfc3696-pysrc.html
for parsing HTTP URLs that might give you some hints.

But what I'd do (if I had the time) is sit down with the RFC and just
translate it line by line into Lepl matchers. If you do that, and get stuck,
post again with a more specific question and I may be able to help...

Good luck,
Andrew
