I was trying to debug some errors, and turned on GHCi debugging (not really clear what that does yet!), and got this:
     <command line>: can't load .so/.DLL for: m.dll (addDLL: could not load DLL)
     Loading package ieee754-0.7.3 ...
     ghc.exe: m: The specified module could not be found.
     =========================================
     cabal: Cannot find the program 'ld' at 'false' or on the path
     =========================================
I was trying to fid out what version of GHC was being used by leksah.

Many (most) of the startup errors are gone now, only these two remained for me:
Now loading metadata ...
   loadInfosForPackage: zlib-0.5.3.1 Exception: Impossible in Binary SpDescr get
   loadInfosForPackage: zlib-0.5.3.3 Exception: Impossible in Binary SpDescr get
