No system metadata

On only one of my machines (Mac) Leksah has never displayed any system
metadata. No matter what buttons and menus I use to try to rebuild
the metadata, nothing seems to happen. In particular, I've tried
"Update System Metadata" and "Refresh System Metadata".

I've tried reinstalling the Haskell Platform and Leksah.
I've also tried deleting the 'dot' files (an old .leksah-0.8 and the
newer .leksah-0.10) and rerunning Leksah. On restarting I just accept
the default settings, leaving the search paths blank and it seems to
put up the "Please wait while Leksah collects information about
Haskell packages on your system" progress bar for a while, but there's
no sign of any system metadata in the browser afterward.

I have everything working fine on my Macbook and my work Mac Pro, but
not on my home Mac Pro. I don't remember doing anything special on
these other machines - just installed Leksah after installing the
Haskell Platform and everything worked.

Any ideas?
I haven't blown away my .cabal user directory yet. Would prefer not
to, but could something in that cause a problem?

Hi Luke,
mh, that kind of problems is strange. First you have to verify that
the
ghc version fits the ghc version leksah was compiled with. Second you
have
to look that the ghc package database is working correctly.

I read something like "cache is out of ..." in your trace, which is
not a
leksah message. So probably it has to do something with the package
database.
Please try a "sudo ghc-pkg recache". If this doesn't solve your
problem you
can try to reach me in the leksah irc channel as jutaro, and we can
try to solve.

I'm having a similar problem, but this is after having run "ghc-pkg recache".

I see the following in the console output for Leksah:

... (all system packages listed)

Those two files listed are indeed missing from my install.

I'm having a similar problem. The only system module I see is Control.Exception.

When I run the "Rebuild Metadata" application (from the "Leksah" folder of my Windows Start menu),

I see a lot of these:

Is that a clue?
