Wow! that's the oldest unit that I've ever seen!
The pictures are not very good, I did not see the router carriage, or ever the lead screw.

Its being sold in Peoria, IL, Isn't that Amish country? I would say 1883?
I wonder if the router was powered by wind, water, or steam??? ;-)

Nice find Tim! that is defiantly one for the record books.

It doesn't even look as if cant do spirals I don't see any leadscrew or gears or a saddle for that matter must be one of the very first made of steel it looks like
