Expect an email from Church Community Builder this week. Please create your login and complete your family information including cell phone numbers and providers for our new texting capabilities. We are rolling this out so not everyone will get an email immediately Don't forget to sign Senior Journals! This week!   WEEKLY EMAIL We are excited to announce... JrHi Parents you will begin to receive a weekly email update from Addison. Now that Addison is settling into his ministry role at Legacy he wants to begin communicating with our JrHi parents on a regular basis.  For the next few weeks, as a JrHi parent or student, you may still receive this HS email because we want our 8th grade students and parents to know what is coming up for our HS Ministry this summer.  There are summer registrations and information available.  We hope that this will be a blessing to you and your family as the HS and JrHi Ministries work together to communicate to you opportunities to Connect, Grow, and Live as followers of Christ.  ....Jason Memorial Day Special Register for camp...registration for OC CAMPS is ongoing.  Want to save $10? Here's a great way to get involved in Mission work right here in our own area. Legacy is a huge supporter of FORTRESS.  This summer our HS group will be involved with a weeklong mission project at FORTRESS.  We will be working with children, leading VBS type events, playing games, leading worship times, and more!  June 23-28. Don't miss this opportunity! Register NOW   TREK ANYONE? Still interested in TREK? I have had a few ask since we "postponed the trip".  We can still do a trip if we have enough that want to go. Please contact Jason this week if you can commit to going. We must have a $100 deposit due immediately.  Let's make this trip work! --------------------------------------- HS SUNDAY FOLLOW UP... Bible Class... Dear parents, we've concluded our Family Series in our HS Sunday Morning Bible Class with a great study on faith in the home. We looked at Deuteronomy 6:4-9, which explains what it means to fully love God in every area of our lives, especially home life! We challenged students to go deeper with their faith, so, don't be surprised if your teen initiates some spiritual conversations in the coming days.  Look for an opportunity to talk with your teen about our small group discussion. Here are some questions to help get you started: What are some habits you can develop that will help you grow spiritually? What do you see as your role in encouraging spiritual growth in our family? What do you think it means to love God with all of your heart, soul, and strength? You might also initiate or suggest some regular times your family can talk about God. When you do spend time together, be sure to take a few minutes to pray as a family. Send me an email or give me a call to share any news on how things are going.
