PFLAG!!!  I'm very excited to have booked presentations at three different Southern California meetings of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays.  I'll be speaking on:

The FAIR Education Act and Queer History

Find out about California’s FAIR (Fair, Accurate, Inclusive, Respectful) Education Act and what that might mean students can learn in school (from Kindergarten through 12thgrade.)  From looking at who writes history, to focusing on same-gender love, we’ll explore how some surprising people in history were men who loved other men, women who loved other women, and individuals who defied the boundaries of conventional gender.

I'll be at PFLAG Los Angeles on July 18, PFLAG Pasadena on September 4, and PFLAG Ventura on September 10!
