Morning all,

So, the final details for the hackspace Christmas meal were decided last night and they are:

18:00 onwards - Meet at Mr Foley's Cask Ale House (159 The Headow, Leeds, LS1 5RG - opposite the Art Gallery/Library and Town Hall)

20:00ish - Make our way from Foley's to Fairuz

20:30ish - Meal at Fairuz (Merrion Street, Leeds, LS2 8JU - on the corner between the Merrion Centre and The Lounge)

Everyone is welcome to join us for the drinks at Foley's so hope to see you all there. :)

We don't need to put a deposit down for the table but a rough idea of numbers coming for the meal would be good so just add a +1 to the post if you'd like a seat at the table!

Best wishes,

Alex

Okay, shame to have to do this but due to the lack of interest here/in
irc the meal bit is cancelled.

Drinks in Foleys for those who want them though.

First meeting in 2012 is 03JAN and is likely to be at Old Broadcasting
House.

Shame... was just about to reply that we were likely to reply in the
affirmative...

Ho hum, Foleys it is... but talking of which, it doesn't have much
space that's wheelchair-accessible, right?

Little response last week when asking about venue and no response this
week when asking who wanted to come. Sorry, doll.

Downstairs Foleys is accessible and should be okay to start the
evening in. Hope to see you both there. :)

I was up for it, pretty sure Craig was too, add Nav, you two, Neil and anyone else who turns up, I'd say that's enough...

And I was definitely in for Fairuz. . . been a long day, so only just
getting around to replying :-(
I will be up for Foleys for sure.

Hmmm it seem we may yet have enough. . . I will head to Fairuz even if
no-one else does, I want to check it out :-)

Sounds like it's still on...

If I ask here and on IRC over the space of a week and get little response I assume there is little interest. It's a reasonable deduction.

I've no interest in trying to bully or cajole a passive aggressive, apathetic group into dinner. Into a hackspace, yes. Into dinner, no.

Which is why I said fine, do beer only. And now everyone wants to come to dinner and no one can understand why I would ever want to cancel it.

Gah. I hate passive aggressive.

Organise whatever you like for the 13th, you now at least know where Fairuz and Little Tokyo are.

Yeah I suppose I'd agree with that. The lack of affirmative responses doesn't surprise me though.

I was just taking the stance that I'm going, the more people who turn up the better but if I end up eating by myself I don't think I'd be too fussed.
