Memo Field

Anybody ever use a memo field with ledger? I need to put short
descriptions in for each transaction.

Example:

2004/04/09 Viva Italiano
Expenses:Food $11.00
Expenses:Tips $2.50
Liabilities:MasterCard $-13.50

Need to add:
Dinner with XYZ Client

One way would be:

2004/04/09 Viva Italiano
; Client: XYZ

Expenses:Food $11.00
Expenses:Tips $2.50
Liabilities:MasterCard $-13.50

This way, in future with Ledger 3.0, you could say:

ledger bal %client=xyz
