In 1972 a Dutch guy wanted to buy a new audio set and was informed about the newest and best equipment.
Caring for both sound and design Lecson was selected and he and his neighbor bought this equipment.
It was delivered and installed by 2 gentlemen from the UK and these sets where most probably the first ones in the Netherlands.
This Dutch guy (my father in law) hasn't changed anything  during more than 40 years in the setup and location, apart from adding a CD player.
During these 40 years it only had to be once repaired (lead to the power amplifier). But recently this lead was broken again and was (to my knowledge/skills) beyond repair.
Trying to solve this problem I found a remark on lecsonaudio.com regarding a 'Tim' and this custom cable.
Through this group I found Tim and he provided me with a new, high quality lead.
This lead sure looks much better than the original and after connecting it, it seems to sound even better (I might be biased).
Anyway, probably more carefully listening than before I am impressed by the sound quality of the Lecson set (it has 2 DM2 speakers connected). Having the speakers situated in corners and the volume around '1', this setup produces a true genuine sound picture.
Bottom line: this Dutch guy is a happy man again, Lecson is very special equipment and it's great to have people helping out others. Thanks

Tim is the man!  He has helped out many a stranded soul, including myself.

And now our resident Lecson and tuner stars Lothar and “The Gentleman” will be asking about tuner serial numbers soon no doubt…

Great group of folks, and we intend to keep it that way.

Thank you for that story Rolf and my continued thanks to you John, for starting this little gathering. Lecson wasn't on the scene for very long but it sure made a lasting impression on some folks. I'm fascinated at the passion for this equipment and had no idea I would ever find others who shared the same interest in such an obscure line of gear.

The same goes for my Gales. I've begun to listen some every day, now that we're starting to get settled in our new home a little bit.
