Event: Learning Registry PlugFest 3
Date: Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 8.30AM-6.30PM PST / Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 8.30AM-12PM PST
We're excited that many of you will be joining us in San Diego for the Learning Registry PlugFest this weekend (June 23-24)! If you're in town TONIGHT, please drop by Ritual Tavern (4095 30th Street, San Diego, CA 92104) for an informal happy hour (5.30PM-7PM PST).
For those of you who can't make the trip but are still interested in participating remotely, please register as an online participant at http://plugfest3.eventbrite.com to receive information about connecting with on-site participants in San Diego.
There are several ways for you to get involved (on-site and remotely):
1) Google+ Hangout: For the opening remarks and introductions (9AM-10AM PST) and group work progress reporting (5PM-5.30PM PST), we will stream live video via Google+ Hangout. For the duration of the event on Saturday, Google+ Hangout/Chat will remain open for you to connect with LR developers. We will open Google+ Hangout around 8.45AM PST on Saturday. Email invites to Google+ Hangout will be sent to everyone who signed up on the EventBrite page.
2) Learning Registry Collaborate Google Group: The LR collaborator mailing list is another great way to stay looped in, as groups break into interest areas and start collaborating. The Learning Registry core developers will be watching the list closely during the event.
3) Twitter (@learningreg): We encourage you to follow us via Twitter @learningreg and post pictures, comments, questions and answers with the #learningreg hashtag.
