I don't mean to be annoying about the indexes, but it looks like I have to bring it up yet again. I've been working under the information that if i publish an envelope into a node then I have to wait for no more than an hour for that envelope to appear in data returned by various services. I've also heard that things get reindexed after 100 records are published. I'm building a function that retrieves paradata about a URL and displays it, so the timing is important.

This record, submitted over 2 hours ago....

Does not show up in this request...

Any guesses? ... .joe

Hi Joe,

Indexing gets kicked off after 100 records published or after an hr of the last index generated, whichever comes first. Your published data will be available after the indexing is completed, at a max 1hr+indexing_time. We’re trying to get some timing data on indexing_time to be able to better calculate the time when we can expect to see published data in Slice result.

We’ll look into why you’re not getting your doc in Slice after 2 hr. Thanks for bringing this up.
