Hello,
I would like to know if there is a special way to upload powerpoints
onto wiki. The accepted formats do not include pps and I was wondering
if there was another way. Or is it not possible at all?
Thanks
Nimla
Microsoft Powerpoint files are not accepted by WikiEducator, however you can
convert the ppt file into a swf file, by using Open Office Impress. You can
download the Open Office suite (open source and free) here:
http://www.openoffice.org/
Once installed open office in your PC, please start "Impress", open the ppt
file, then export the file to "swf", the converted file can be uploaded to
WE. Notice it is a flash file so it will not have the ppt features.

I keep getting your emails and am really sorry that I haven't been able to take part. I am overwhelmed with the first weeks of the academic year just don't seem to find the time to take part in the online sessions and do the work.
I hope that I will be able to join in in the near future
