The submission deadline for DS-2013, the 16th International Conference on Discovery Science, has been extended to May 25th.

* DS-2013 will be held in Singapore, on 6-9 October 2013, collocated with ALT-2013, the 24th International Conference on Algorithmic Learning Theory.

* Invited speakers: Nir Ailon and Hannu Toivonen

* Proceedings will appear in the LNAI series by Springer. In addition, a special issue on Discovery Science is planned in a prestigious journal.

* Submission: at most 15 pages in LNCS format

* Topics: Methods for automatic scientific knowledge discovery, machine learning, intelligent data analysis, theory of learning, applications of knowledge discovery, ...

* Carl Smith Award (555 Euros) for best student paper
