Subject: Meeting Recap
Hey LEAP,

Just a quick recap of the meeting today as well as some
announcements.

-The Sustainability Committee had its first meeting last week.
Recycling on campus was one of the main things that was talked about.
-Speaking of recycling, it was proposed that the recycling committee
and carbon committee be merged into one committee because of their
similar goals. I'm a fan of this idea, and it seems like everyone else
was too. So look for that change at next week's meeting.
-Everyone should go to the LEAP website (http://ww2.lafayette.edu/
~leap/recycle/index.php) and print out a couple of the recycling
posters if you know your dorm is missing them.
-CFL Exchange Phase 2 is happening this Friday at 7:30pm. Meet in the
TREEHouse floor lounge (Keefe 3rd floor) if you want to help out.
-There is a talk about renewable energy in Kirby 104 over lunch
tomorrow that everyone is encouraged to attend. There will probably be
free lunch, and it should be a great presentation.
-The visit to the Bronx to learn about the environmental justice work
by Majora Carter is Friday Oct. 30th for anyone who is interested.
I'll forward the email around in case you didn't get it.

That's all for now. Be sure to get outside and enjoy this amazing
weather while it lasts!

-Bryan

Ps. To all the LEAPers who are sick, I hope you start feeling better
soon : )
