Mangum is an improvement specialist at North Carolina State University=E2=

Industrial Extension Service, IES: NC MEP. Anna provides leadership to=20
North Carolina=E2=80=99s statewide sustainable manufacturing initiative, E3=

works closely with federal, state and local leaders, gaining their support=
=20
of manufacturers to be sustainable in economy, energy and environment.=20
Under her direction, E3 has deployed statewide, engaging over 30=20
manufactures, 190 partners and impacting 17 North Carolina communities. The=
=20
program was recently recognized by Governor Bev Perdue as well as presented=
=20
to the White House Rural Council.=20
Anna also serves her organization as a technical specialist in=20
environmental health and safety. She specializes in the delivery of EHS=20
classes and on-site services including ISO 14001, HAZWOPER, and a variety=
=20
of occupational health and safety classes.
Prior to joining IES in 2008, Anna conducted research at the National=20
Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. There, her work focused on=20
familial pulmonary fibrosis and molecular genetics.
Anna graduated from NC State University with a B.S. in environmental=20
technology, and minors in environmental toxicology and environmental=20
science.

provides leadership to North Carolina=E2=80=99s statewide sustainable manuf=
acturing
initiative, E3. She works closely with federal, state and local leaders,
gaining their support of manufacturers to be sustainable in economy, energy=
and
environment. Under her direction, E3 has deployed statewide, engaging over =
30
manufactures, 190 partners and impacting 17 North Carolina communities. The
program was recently recognized by Governor Bev Perdue as well as presented=
to
the White House Rural Council. <br>
<br>
Anna also serves her organization as a technical specialist in environmenta=
l
health and safety. She specializes in the delivery of EHS classes and on-si=
te
services including ISO 14001, HAZWOPER, and a variety of occupational healt=
h
and safety classes.<br>
<br>
Prior to joining IES in 2008, Anna conducted research at the National Insti=
tute
of Environmental Health Sciences. There, her work focused on familial pulmo=
nary
fibrosis and molecular genetics.<br>
<br>
Anna graduated from NC State University with a B.S. in environmental
technology, and minors in environmental toxicology and environmental scienc=
