"There is a brilliant child locked inside every student."

Most of us would agree that every child has potential. Every child
has something special. Every child is a miracle waiting to happen.
What if we thought about our employees, coworkers and adult
volunteers the same way?
What if we really believed the people who report to us at work were
brilliant?
What if we really believed our peers on that nonprofit Board are
bright, talented and able to work small miracles?
What if we actually treated our coworkers and colleagues as if they
were the answer to our most challenging problems?
Our relationships would be different if we simply accepted that
each person we meet has an invaluable answer to a question we
haven't yet asked. Every person is perfect for the right assignment
or responsibility. Our job, as leaders, is to match tasks and
projects to the person or team best suited to complete them.
Great leaders know there are hidden diamonds on their team.
Think . . . and act . . . like a leader!
