"How many people will smile today because of your words or
actions?"

Leaders are often called to make difficult decisions that result in
fear, anger or confusion. But more often, leaders are able to make
people smile by the simple actions they take every day.
Do you look people in the eye and greet them with a smile?
Do you praise those who make a positive contribution to your team?
Do you say "Please" and "Thank You" on a regular basis.
Do you remember the names and important needs of people you work
with?
Do you ask, "How can I help" or "What can I do to make it easier?"
These are just a few of the things you can do that will make people
smile. These are just a few of the things that great leaders do to
build a strong foundation of respect and trust.
Think . . . and act . . . like a leader!

and fair.
