Would it be possible to, in the near future, add the ability to
HIGHLIGHT (using different color options) the items in your database,
similar to different scripture apps?? Would be EXTREMELY helpful.
Thank you!

This is a tricky question because this sort of feature crosses over
into the LDS Gospel Library's functionality space. We want to be a
citation index, not an alternate version of Gospel Library. They're
working on making highlights sync with your LDS account, which would
be more powerful in the long run than just having highlights on the
device where you do the highlighting. However we publish historical
materials (1970 and earlier) that don't appear in Gospel Library
currently.
Since our web site doesn't have highlighting, this isn't a feature
we've ever talked about putting in the mobile app. When we meet
again, I'll talk with my partner about this.

Thanks for the info that is very helpful to understand your purpose with this "great" project which I've enjoyed very much! Your system provides that which seems unavailable any where else. Keep up the great work!

We did implement a copy function, but currently it's a bit broken in
the sense that it only copies the whole talk, and it only copies the
HTML, not the bare text. In a future version we'll strip the HTML
tags in the copy feature. And as you suggest, Charles, it would be a
good idea to be able to select a portion of the talk and copy just
that bit. Later versions of Android support this more readily than
earlier versions. At some point we'll add this for versions of
Android that have the support.
Thanks for the suggestion.
