1- I would really like to see an offline version of this

2- I would like the option to have citations open up in a new tab/
window (for example, I'm looking at Mosiah 3:19 in the scripture
citation index; there are a bajillion results. I'm using firefox with
the snaplinks add-on, so I want to be able to right click over all the
links, and have them open in new browser tabs instead of having tabs
open that say "javascript:void(0);"

3- I would like to have a digitized version of Scriptural Teachings of
the Prophet Joseph Smith, so that the results don't pop up a pdf file

I realize that's a lot to ask, but those are some things I (as a
dedicated user of the website) would like to see. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions and feedback -- it's helpful.

#1 Will be coming in the future to the mobile apps (iPhone and
Android). Maybe in 2011, we'll see.
#2 We'll think about how to make the web site friendlier to the usage
pattern you describe. When we redesigned it to use a more efficient
AJAX approach, all the links were internalized. Perhaps we should let
the user ask for a version of the index that does not use the internal
frames layout. If the non-frames layout were available, talks would
open in another window or tab, and the talks would show up in the
browser history so your browser's back button would work.
#3 We had originally posted STPJS as a PDF-only document, but then we
created an HTML version as well (which is what comes up by default
currently, but in a separate window, not fully integrated with the
rest of the site). We've been putting so much effort into the mobile
apps that we didn't get STPJS integrated quite as nicely as the other
materials. We are planning to integrate STPJS like the conference
talks and Journal of Discourses. Look for that soon.
