See below - I sent this out to the homeowners regarding the planting tomorrow.

 

Matt - do you have a table or two for sign up/brochures and food?    Any chance you could bring "How to becme a Tree Tender" brochures to set on the table.  I'll bring copies of our tree of the month articles.

We are one day away from a tree planting that many of us have been waiting years for....Let's pray for nice weather!!!

 

Please meet at Arsenal Park (40th Street) at 8:45 a.m. tomorrow morning.

 

Please dress for the weather.  We will plant (rain or shine)!

 

Schedule of Events:

 

8:45 a.m  - Registration and Introduction  (Coffe from Perk Me UP and Pastries from Dozen)

9:00 a.m. - Bare Root Tree Planting Demonstration (40th St)

9:30 a.m. - Break into 3 groups and disperse out into the neighborhood to begin planting  (37 trees in total)

1:00 p.m. - Meet at Lawrenceville United for Piccolo Forno Pizza and Beverage

1:30 p.m. - Head back out into the neighborhood to finish planting (hopefully we will be done by then but can't guarantee)

Time to be determined - After Planting Nied's Bar has invited us for free appetizers!!!

Usually we leave at 9:00.  Sure you can ride with us.  Why don't you meet at my house at 9:00 and then we can go from there.  Rob's friend usually has the tailgate with food/drink - just need to give $10.00.  If for some reason he does not have his tailgate then I'll let you know what to bring.  So right now it's just 10.00.
