Luis Ewing takes umbrage at attitude of J.R. BUTLER

Luis emailed me and explained that he felt upset because J.R. BUTLER refused to stop using Luis’ free legal defense flyers.  Luis claimed Butler made money off the flyers which Luis gives away free to help people.

 

Luis has a reputation for achieving results for people who can’t get results otherwise in legal matters.  He puts a lot of time and energy into his work, and he charges money for it.  But he gives his flyers away free, and he feels miffed when people charge money for the flyers or their derivatives, or include them only in for-pay products.

 

Luis does not have a bar organization to protect him from competitors the way lawyers do.  So I encourage people to respond graciously when a proprietor asks to stop distributing proprietary material.
