Protesters in Israel - Heartless or
Pragmatic?
What could they possibly fear from 3000 Sudanese refugees who see Israel as their new home, safe from the genocide of internecine tribal conflict in the Sudan? Have the refugees become immigrants, or mere migrants? Does Israel have the resources to absorb and tend to all the refugees who come? Have other Sudanese refugees taken refuge in Islamic countries nearer to the Sudan? If not, why not?
Likud MK describes Sudanese migrants as cancer; government prepares for mass deportation.
