Hi All,

I am using IEEETran.cls and IEEETran.bst. In one place I have multiple references for example, \cite{ref1, ref2, ref,3 ref4, ref5} which is rendered as [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]. However, I want it to appear as [1-5]. I used hypernat.sty package for this but without any success. Please help me in this regard.

Regards,
Sam.

you have to use \usepackage{cite}.

If you are using bare_jrnl.tex file, uncomment this package. If not, add it in the preamble.

Hi,

Even after I have used \usepackage{cite}, it is not rendering. Please suggest alternatives.

The mcite or mciteplus packages do this.
