Stepping back a level from joking, I think it's good to have a range of
machines in a shop. I didn't branch NORTD because I don't like them but
because I needed to go in a different route to debug some of SCI's
problems. I'm hoping NORTD takes my speedup code (HINT HINT), but I
won't be insulted if they don't.

I'm also working with a guy in the EU to test his beaglebone Mendel
controller on my lasersaur, my finished-yesterday Mendel Max, and a
silly idea I have for a desktop metal machine.
