Connecting a inductive proximity switch

Is it possible to use the following proximity switch as homing sensor on the lasersaur? http://www.damencnc.com/includes/download.php?fid=75ab1a77-facc-5c5e-9bbd-2818bb9d66d1

I am wondering how i would connect the switch to the lasersaur shield without dameging it.. Could I just run the white (NC wire) to white pin of one of the lasersaur opto switches? 

I have a small 12v DC power supply i could run the sensor with. I gues a common ground will also be necessary for the switch to work. Would this be the black or green pin on the 

lasersaur shield? Hope someone can help me with this.
