Hello,

We recently purchased 50 apple trees (for our nascent orchard-cidery) that are a year older/bigger than we expected, and they will not fit in our small holding-nursery. We don't have space to plant them out permanently yet, and so are looking  for available space on someone land to keep them nurseried for 1 year before planting out.

We would need about 400-700 sq/ft for them (can either be in 1 or two rows, or planted in a bed/square/etc.) and a nearby water source which we could have use at planting and of a couple of times in the summer, depending on rainfall (we have hoses..)

We could pay some modest amount of $ for the space, or are happy to do work trade (can offer fruit tree consult/pruning/grafting/etc, an apple tree of your very own to plant, or some general garden/yard work!)

please email if you have land available or know someone who might!

I think you could put them out at UEF, in our field in the row with the other apple trees (as long as we kept track of which ones were which)  kt
